For this Independence Day weekend, San Mateo County’s Avoid the 23 DUI enforcement activities will include a checkpoint in Burlingame on California Drive at Douglas Avenue on Saturday, July 5.
This checkpoint will be held in conjunction with other special DUI enforcement patrols occurring over the Independence Day holiday weekend, as part of the state-wide “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign.
Funding for this program was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
