Brentwood Park Reopening Event Rescheduled to March 25, 2017

Join us in celebrating the grand reopening of this lovely neighborhood park on Saturday, March 25! The park reopening and ribbon cutting celebration will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A volunteer planting event sponsored by the Improving Public Places Committee will begin at 9:00 a.m.

The reopening celebration has been rescheduled from the original February date due to heavy rains.

About the Brentwood Park Construction Project

The renovation of Brentwood Park includes several dramatic upgrades:

Transformation of the baseball field to a natural turf / skinned infield regulation peewee practice and game field
Replacement of failing sections of retaining wall
Reconstruction of the existing loop trail and asphalt pathways and driveway to conform with current accessibility requirements
Replacement of playground equipment
Improved drainage
Upgraded high efficiency irrigation system
Addition of one ADA compliant off-street parking space
