Today we received a message from a South San Francisco neighbor questioning the scaffolding up at City Hall at 400 Grand Avenue. We thank the City for this timely update:
City Hall Roof Replacement Underway
The City’s Contractor for the City Hall Roof Replacement Project began work setting up scaffolding and replacing the roof on Saturday 9/8/2018. The construction should take place over three weeks and during that time, the contractor will be using the “loading dock” three parking spaces outside of finance’s staff door to work. The exit from finance will be accessible at all time for safety, but it would be best to avoid using the exit and side of the building if possible. Construction is anticipated to be completed by 10/1/2018.
