South San Francisco, CA   May 29, 2017  Photos submitted by Davida Dean

Each year our local Bay Area Scout Troops honor our fallen soldiers in remembrance by placing the US Flag on each grave in the Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, California. Below are a few photos shared by Davida Dean, mother of Andrew Dean a member of Boy Scout Troop 72.

“Scout Troop 72 put out flags at the Golden Gate National Cemetery along with hundreds of other Boy & Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Venture Scouts from all around the Bay Area. This is an annual tradition done the Saturday before Memorial Day” Davida tells us.
