Meet Officer Quintero Officer Quintero has been a Police Officer with the South San Francisco Police Department for three years. She was a Police Explorer from 2001 to 2005 and a Reserve Police Officer from 2010-2014. Officer Quintero is currently assigned to the Downtown Bike Patrol. She is fluent in Spanish.

Officer Quintero grew up in South San Francisco and attended Martin Elementary, Parkway Heights Middle School, and South San Francisco High School (class of 2002). After joining the Police Explorers Post, Officer Quintero decided she wanted to be a Police Officer. To her, no other job is more rewarding. She initially worked for another law enforcement agency for seven years before coming back to the South San Francisco Police Department.

Officer Quintero’s goal is to bridge the gap between the Hispanic community and her Law Enforcement Family. Making a difference in the community she grew up in is the most fulfilling part of her job. In Officer Quintero’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, her dogs, and crafting!
