Mellow love bug?  Check.  Lap dog?  Check.  Excellent leash manners?  Check. Pint sized Phoebe is pretty much the perfect dog.  She’s an eight year old spayed female Chihuahua mix who is seeking a quiet home where she can just put her paws up and relax.  Phoebe is mild mannered and more of a Sunday stroller type with first-rate leash manners.  She enjoys the company other dogs her size, but mostly she just wants to have a human companion to shower with love.  As a Senior Sweetheart, Phoebe’s adoption fees are waived through the month of February.  Ask for Phoebe ID# A835099.

Other adoptable pets are available at Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA’s Tom and Annette Lantos Center for Compassion, 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame. The shelter is open for adoptions weekdays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Potential adopters should arrive at least an hour before closing time to complete an adoption. For directions and information, call 650-340-7022 or visit www.phs-spca.org.
