Reunited Family Pup Puts Smiles on South City Faces

South San Francisco, CA    May 26, 2017

Everything South City received a message on our Facebook page from a neighbor hoping to find their family pup. “We lost our dog near Pine Avenue and we need help finding it” wrote Juan G “Please will you share with our contact number?”

‘Our pup is missing, can you help us find it?’ Was the inquiry ESC received.

And so we did which prompted our caring neighbors to share the post and set their eyes open searching. A few neighbors came back to report the South San Francisco Police Department’s Facebook page had a post with what looked like the same pup. Special thanks to Brenda and to Julie for bringing the message back!

‘This cute little furry friend was found by our Parking Enforcement Officer Ram roaming by the City Hall Annex at Maple Street at approximately 9 am. He is very friendly and playful so we are sure the owner miss him so much.

You can head to the Police Station at 33 Arroyo Drive before SPCA takes him away later. Please call our main number at (650) 877-8900 to make sure the dog is still in our possession’

Officer Ram holding the lost pup was happy to help!

We were happy to report Juan and his family were able to pick up their puppy and they are now set to enjoy a happy Memorial Day weekend. Thanks to everyone who helped this be a happy story – something we need more of!

Juan and his children are so happy their puppy is back home. ‘Thank you’ they express to all!
