San Bruno Mountain Watch is trying to form a South San Francisco
group to work on mountain-related issues specific to South San
Francisco, Some of these issues are access to the mountain; habitat
restoration, conservation of the north side of Sign Hill, to name a
few. A meeting will be arranged in mid-October for those interested.

As you know, San Bruno Mountain is the second largest urban open
space in the United States. It is recognized globally by biologists as a
separate evolutionary center and biodiversity hotspot.
