South San Francisco, CA   September 21, 2018  Submitted by Sara, SSF Women’s Club

On Saturday, November 3 at 12:00 PM the South San Francisco Women’s Club is hosting a Soup & Salad Luncheon benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Juvenile Diabetes, also known as Type 1 Diabetes, usually develops in children and adolescents. People with Type 1 Diabetes are dependent on injected or pumped insulin to survive. Those afflicted must constantly monitor their blood-glucose levels to prevent serious health complications. It’s an exhausting, incurable and unpreventable disease.

The JDRF is the leading global organization funding Type 1 Diabetes research, and advocates around the world for those afflicted with the disease. Please help us support this amazing organization by attending our luncheon. Contact SSFWCPublicity@gmail.com to make your reservations or to get details!
