SSFPD Media Release: Robbery & Beaten Neighbor

At about 5:00 AM on February 25, 2014, a South San Francisco man was beaten, robbed and left in the street.  Police and Fire Department personnel responded to 335 S. Maple Avenue on the report from a delivery driver, of a male subject found on the ground in the driveway.

 

Orlando Sermeno, aged 38, sustained non-life threatening injuries. Sermeno’s wallet and cellular telephone were stolen during the assault and robbery. There is no suspect information at this time. It is unknown if the incident was gang-related.
