On Wednesday, January 25th at about 8: 15 am, two cars were involved in a collision in the intersection of El Camino Real (SR-82) and BART. Both drivers were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment for minor injuries. Through police investigation, it was determined one of the drivers was under the influence of drugs at the time of the collision. The driver, 46 year old Lizardo Gomez of Daly City, was cleared from the hospital and placed under arrest for felony DUI. The driver was transported to Redwood City jail and booked on the aforementioned charge.
