William Alvin Kellner kept watch at the Produce Terminal for years.

Some knew him as the guy in the guard house, some knew him as a neighbor, which is how we learned of the passing of William Alvin Kellner on 2-18-16. Willie was the guard at the hut in the Produce Terminal for years. He was a great neighbor and friend, he and his belated wife Virginia. “He died at home, no family or relatives that I know of. He is at the coroners office in San Mateo.” a #SSF neighbor writes “I don’t know what to do to help other than have you post so people know.’ There aren’t any funeral arrangements but we will update if/when we learn more.
There are people we see daily in our lives that we only know from that one scenario, and then one day they are gone. We want to remember them and take the time to share their passing, take a moment to silently say good-bye.
